Short informative videos and decision aid for patients with 15-25% risk of LNM after local excision of colon cancer

Module 5.2 van de CRC-richtlijn adviseert om actieve follow-up te overwegen als alternatief voor een complementerende resectie bij patiënten met een geschat risico van 15–25% op lymfekliermetastasen na lokale excisie van een coloncarcinoom.

Er zijn informatievideo’s en een keuzekaart ontwikkeld om patiënten en behandelaren te ondersteunen bij de voorlichting over de behandelopties.

De keuzekaart kan worden gebruikt ter ondersteuning in de spreekkamer. Deze vindt u hieronder.

De video’s kunnen door patiënt zelf worden bekeken. Deze zijn beschikbaar op de pagina “For patients” onder “Informatievideo’s”. U kunt de patiënt de QR-code laten scannen of het kaartje met de QR-code laten printen en meegeven.

T1 CRC protocol

With the start of the screening on colorectal cancer (CRC) in the Netherlands, it was expected that within a few years 8-40% of all detected colorectal cancers would be early cancers (T1 tumours). This development did necessitate a better understanding of the prognosis, patient selection, treatment options and follow up of this specific group of patients.

The T1 CRC working group developed an evidence-based guideline.

On the 13th of February, 2024, we organised a webinar about the main changes in the care fore patients with a T1 tumor.

On the 10th of June 2025 we organised a case based webinar about the main changes in the guidelines section 5.1 / 5.2: the treatment of T1 and T2 tumours.
